The 10th Liaison Squadron was an Insurrectionist aerial unit. Originally attached to the 10th Line Artillery Battery, and the Fenceline Army, the Squadron took part in spotting for the 10th, and other units' fire support. After the destruction of the Battery by UNSC forces, the 10th Liaison flew to the 16th Motorized Brigade, flying messages between it and the capital, as well as providing recon while they helped stave off UNSC forces.
After the 16th was decimated, the remaining single aircraft limped to the capital, landing in the park, almost completely devoid of trees from the UNSC bombardment. After the war, the final aircraft was taken by a farmer, who used it to ferry his product to market and cropdust.
While the 10th provided mostly recon and liaison aid, it had one confirmed air-to-air kill during its time fighting the UNSC against an AV-14 Hornet, when, using an M319, the spotter of one of the aircraft fired at, and destroyed the craft sent up to intercept them.
