The 22nd Unit, otherwise referred to as Victor Team, is a small team of five UNSC Marine Shock Troopers and is part of the 5th Shock Troops Battalion is an UNSC Marine Corps ODST unit.

The 22nd Unit is comprised of 5 members, all of which specialises in certain skills; a Squad Leader, Intelligence Officer, Marksman and Demolition Expert, Heavy Specialist. They are dubbed the "Roughnecks", due to their ability to resolve any given tasks or operations. Their CSV are impressive, as they had survived five battles against the URF and two battles against the Covenant.
