"Some say the Navajo is just as revolutionary as FTL, but I'm not so sure."
―Anonymous naval officer
The A-1 "Navajo" Advanced Point/Individual Objective Combatant Armor suit (APIOCA), more commonly referred to as the Advanced Combatant suit (ACS) and/or the Navajo battle suit, is a state-of-the-art infantry battle suit produced solely by Horizon Armory's subsidiary Queenridge Tactical Support Solutions.
Employed almost exclusively by various branches of UNSC SpecWar, the APIOCA is a cutting edge cocktail of intricate, logistical circuitry and ultra-protective composites, among other features. By 2611, one year after its debut on the battlefield, an estimated twenty-five percent of all special forces commandos were garbed in the Navajo while another thirty percent were estimated to be utilizing it within the following two years.
Behind the Scenes
The abbreviated is pronounced like "tapioca," albeit without the t and the c is softly (like an s).
