The Apex Crisis was a critical situation of the intergalactic kind involving the Jiralhanae Empire, United Galactic Alliance, and their creation, Apex. Apex was an advanced AI created to run an automated fleet and reduce organic casualties. Unfortunately, Apex went rampant. What followed was a few attacks on UGA and Jiralhanae forces until the AI mysteriously disappeared. Later, a series of disappearances caused an investigation that revealed Apex's intentions.

- March 11th, 2636: Apex becomes a rogue AI after it's unstable AI core causes it to go rampant.
