The Bishamonten-class Large Cruiser were upgunned and upscaled Ares-class Battlecruiser, designed to combat the growing number of Remnant Grand and Super Cruisers. The ship is larger than Grand cruiser classifications, but inferior in size to Super Cruisers, being a midway point in size. The ship is aggressively designed, being a singular prow with the Super MAC supported by its two turreted companions on the deck and keel of the ship. While it features no hangars for fighters, it does sport a over abundance of Archer pods and point defence weapons, allowing it to bring considerable firepower to the battlefield. Due to its relatively large reactor, it can operate at full power for longer and recharge is main gun faster. Like its younger brother, the Ares-class, it is unusually fast for a ship of its size, though its armour thickness suffers, meaning behind its powerful shielding, its vulnerable.

The ship is used for engaging enemy 'super ships' in fleet actions, with it being capable of firing at a higher rate than the smaller Ares-class. It has enough missiles, nuclear warheads and smaller cannons to take down ships as large as assault carriers in one hit. It can also go toe-to-toe with similarly sized ships in close quarters, carrying enough cannons to wear down their shielding in a short period.

The Bishamonten is rarely deployed with a battlegroup, instead often being deployed in cruiser squadrons.

Týr-class Large CruiserEdit

The Mímir-class Escort Destroyer was a subclass of the Bishamonten-class. The class was aesthetically the same as the Bishamonten-class, but had an W/AS M21A 'Tsunami' DIC replacing a Cyclone MAC gun. This subclass was employed extensively during the middle stages of the Necros War.

Kali-class Large CruiserEdit

The Kali-class Escort Destroyer was a subclass of the Bishamonten-class. The class was aesthetically the same as the Bishamonten-class, but had an W/AS M21C 'Tsunami' DIC replacing its Super MAC gun. This subclass was employed extensively during the latter stages of the Necros War.

Apollo-class Large CruiserEdit

The Apollo-class Escort Destroyer was a subclass of the Bishamonten-class. The class was aesthetically the same as the Bishamonten-class, but had an W/AS M13 G/GNC replacing its Super MAC gun. This subclass was employed extensively during the latter stages of the Necros War.
