Cellular Optical Particle Imaging (abbreviated also as COPI) is a holographic interface used by Drill Instructors and Commissioned Officers in extensive trainings to established a "Real Life Situation".

"Noooooo......I'm alive?"
―A Marine experiencing a "Real Life Situation" by COPI

[edit] Summary

Generally expensive yet beneficial, it can produce a realistic figure to the trainees with all the basic physics implemented within the device. The device comes with several features; the ability to change weapon's preferences, enemy's status and quantity control. All of these however requires a direct connection to an online database to have the most updated data.

[edit] Operational History

It was firstly used in the Spartan-IIs training before they underwent the horrible augmentation. Although it worked perfectly on ODSTs, the Spartan Candidates seemed to be able to fend off the "fake" figures easily. The manufacturer thought it was a failure in the products and gave replacements. However, once again, the Spartan Candidates were victorious over the COPI figures.

In the dark times of the Human-Covenant War where not enough COs or Drill Instructors in the training ground, the products were extensively used for training Marines and ODSTs to be prepared for the war.

[edit] UNSC Remarks

"I will never come back to nursery school. Those copycats kept on taunting me..."

"You thought the war was hard? Wait till you see the Training we faced..."

"Ahhh!! Medic!!"

"Why is there another ME in that side?"
