"Wishes can come true. But not if you just wait for miracles. Miracles are things we make for ourselves. Here, and now."

Petty Officer Third Class Chelsey Vanille[2] Corvinus (born August 3rd, 2513) was an accomplished Nurse, Bio-engineer and Physiologist of the Unified Earth Government who later enlisted as a Hospital Corpsman several months after the start of the Human-Covenant War. She was usually referred to as Chellie or Cherry Vanilla by her closest friends and Corvinus by her commanding officers. Due to her advanced knowledge of medical technologies and her inherent need to save people, "Chellie" had proven herself to be a valuable member to any group she was assigned to. Participating in and having survived the Great War, Chelsey had seen war at its fullest and was terrified at the pain and destruction it wrought.

After the declaration of peace, she voluntarily resigned from the Navy and had chosen to pursue a career as a researcher in the UNSC Medical Corps where she believed that her knowledge could be used to better medical technology. Later on, her research and achievements proved instrumental in the later years, having saved countless lives. Through various records and her diary, it was revealed that she was the younger sister of SPARTAN-057.
