Derek-D119 was a Spartan-III from the highly-secretive Delta Company, and was part of Team Annihilation.

Biography

Orphaned

Derek Silent had managed to survive through the Battle of Earth by hiding in his family's car. Unfortunately for the rest of his family, they couldn't get inside the car in time and were killed by Jackal sharpshooters. He was later found by ODSTs and was taken to an orphanage.

Delta Company

Derek was later recruited into Delta Company by ONI agents, offering to help Derek on his "path of revenge", as they put it. Derek agreed.

He was taken from the orphanage and was sent to Argus V, where he would train with the other 300 trainees. His last name would be erased and would be replaced by a numerical tag: D119.

During weapons training, Derek, much like Jason-D002, found a knack for the MA5 series, but more notably the M6 series, as towards the end of his training he could neutralize a shielded target with a simple M6H.
