Fleet Admiral Edward Maurice Harper is an American-born UNSC Navy Flag Officer and 62nd and current UNSC Supreme Commander, succeeding Terrence Hood after his assassination in 2560. Prior to this, he served as the 61st Chief of Naval Operations, replaced by Fleet Admiral Carolyn Webster in 2560. He famously commanded the UNSC Home Fleet during the Battle of Earth in the First Great War, and commanded the UNSCDF throughout the latter half of the War of Vengeance and the entirity of the Second Great War.
