The Errant Faith ("Cheen-see Meheay" in simplified Sangheili) was a paramilitary band of Sangheili warriors formed by a group of deserters from the Storm Covenant's Kru'desh Legion. Headed by the young warrior Tuka 'Refum, the Errant Faith rejected the destructive factional squabbles that had consumed the Sangheili in the wake of the Great Schism and ostensibly sought to protect civilians from any who would use the ongoing conflicts as an excuse to oppress them. Members of the Errant Faith refused to swear allegiance to any Sangheili faction and rejected all but the most basic of ties to their former keeps and bloodlines.
