Fireteam Anubis was a unit within the Spartan branch, created by the Office of Naval Intelligence after the failed termination of Lancaster-205. The team was composed of operators from two separate SPARTAN programs, both pairs having previously operated in asymmetrical action roles under Sections 0 and III. Notably, both Class IIs were the members of Sierra 205’s training team, while one of the SIIIs was in fact the biological brother of 205. These details were overlooked in favor of the projected compatibility and effectiveness of the potential team, especially as all previous records indicated the details would be irrelevant. After the hunt for 205’s conclusion the unit was dissolved and the surviving member was rotated into another joint-program Fireteam under the Spartan Branch.

Marcus-226; Team Leader and demolitions specialist and one half of the dissolved Section 0 Parralax Unit and former member of Cobalt Team, renown for his destructive capability and ruthlessness.
Jason-243; Designated marksman of the unit, formerly made up the other half of the Parralax Unit and member of Cobalt Team, over the course of his career 243 has often served as a calming presence to balance out the volatile 226, as well as becoming one of the top Spartan snipers.
Callum-B042; CQC and infiltration specialist, former member of Headhunter Team Hotel-II as well as NAVSPECWAR FEUDAL Team and member SPARTAN-III Beta Company Fireteam Bravo, while initially not of note, became well known for his ability to survive against overwhelming odds as well as his brutality.
Jamison-G144; An excellent gunfighter and marksman, is also formerly the of Hotel-II, as well as leader of SPARTAN-III Gamma Company Fireteam Shamshir prior to their death or injury during the Battle of Earth.
