The First Battle of Installation 03 was an engagement between UNSC,Covenant,Forerunner,and Flood. It took place between October 10-12, 2552 on Installation 03 (Yuhi33). The battle eventually ended with a stalemate because all sides were unorganized.

0900 Hours

• Battle Group Foxtrot come out of slipspace from Reach over Installation 03 (Yuhi33). Vice Admiral Hudson Stye on his Flagship the UNSC Trumphant Honor order all ships to gather near the ring.

0934 Hours

• Covenant come out of slipspace over Installation 03 (Yuhi33). The leader Resa 'Nasamee sends ships to attack Battle Group Foxtrot.
• The Divine Justice heads towards Installation 03.

1056 Hours

• SPARTAN-103 with several Marines infiltrate a CCS-class Battlecruiser on Installation 03.
• ODST's under the command of Corpral Sam Ternin setup a base called Delta Base.
• Vice Admiral Stye lands the UNSC Triumphant Honor near Delta Base.

1145 Hours

• SPARTAN-103 destroys a CCS-class Battlecruiser.
• Covenant forces retreat to a mountain range on Installation 03.

1600 Hours

• The UNSC Rising Glory takes several Plasma Torpedoe hits and lands near a strange Forerunner wall to make repairs.

2300 Hours

• Covenant forces in the mountain range setup a base camp.
• The Divine Justice lands at the Covenant base camp.
• Resa 'Nasamee gets offboard the Divine Justice

0800 Hours

• The UNSC discover the Silent Cartographer guarded by Covenant.
• SPARTAN-103 leads an assault on the Silent Cartographer.

0830 Hours

• SPARTAN-103 kills 4 Hunters using only a Plasma Rifle.
• Resa 'Nasamee lands at the Silent Cartographer using a Phantom.

0900 Hours

• SPARTAN-103 activates the Cartographer and finds the location of the Control Room and also discovers what the Covenant believe the Installation can do and the Great Journey.
• Vice Admiral Stye gets a transmission from SPARTAN-103 about the news he discovered about the Great Journey.

0910 Hours

• SPARTAN-103 confronts Resa 'Nasamee.
• Resa 'Nasamee is wounded after SPARTAN-103 uses a Combat Knife to cut him in the neck.

1000 Hours

• UNSC forces from the Rising Glory venture into the Sentinel Wall and accidently deactivate the containment shield.

1400 Hours

• Resa 'Nasamee is rescued and treated by his fellow Elites.
• The Covenant launch a surprise attack on Delta Base and kill 456 Marines.

1600 Hours

• SPARTAN-103 gets on a Pelican Dropship and flys to the Control Room. He is unaware that several Covenant Banshees are following him.
• Several UNSC Frigates are destroyed by Covenant AA Cannons
• Resa 'Nasamee gets back onboard the Divine Justice

1700 Hours

• SPARTAN-103 arrives at the Control Room. He is confronted by 49 Repetative Jolt who teleports him and himself to the Library.
• Marines make to the other side of the Sentinel Wall and get inside the Library.

1730 Hours

• While walking through the Library, SPARTAN-103 is told by 49 Repetative Jolt about the true purpose of Installation 03 and other Halos.
• SPARTAN-103 notices the Index. Just as he is about to grab it, 49 Repetative Jolt stops him telling him that there is no Flood outbreak on the ring and no need for activation.

1740 Hours

• 49 Repetative Jolt reactivates the Containment Shield.
• Marines in the Library accidently release the Flood.
• The Divine Justice flys over the Sentinel Wall before it's containment shield is reactivated.
• SPARTAN-103 is teleported by 49 Repetative Jolt back to the Control Room.

1750 Hours

• SPARTAN-103 kills several Covenant forces at the Control Room and finds out that Resa' Nasamee is going to the Library to retrieve the Index.

1800 Hours

• 49 Repetative Jolt teleports SPARTAN-103 once again to the Library to get the Index now that the Flood are released.
• Resa 'Nasamee lands his ship near the Library.
• SPARTAN-103 gives transmissions to remaining Marines in the Sentinel Wall to once again deactivate the containment shield.

1830 Hours

• SPARTAN-103 fights his way through Flood and Covenant to the Divine Justice to stop Resa 'Nasamee from getting the Index as he now realizes what will happen if the Halo is activated.

• 49 Repetative Jolt orders all Enforcers and Sentinel to kill any UNSC,Flood,or Covenant because of SPARTAN-103's decision to not activate the ring.

2000 Hours

• Resa 'Nasamee flys the ship out of the Quarantine Zone because of the Flood getting near his ship.
• SPARTAN-103 sneaks aboard the Divine Justice and places a nuclear mine in the storage room on the ship. He sets it to detonate in 5 minutes.

2001 Hours

• The Divine Justice is half way out of the Qurantine Zone.
• SPARTAN-103 fight his way through Elites and Grunts to the Docking Bay of the Ship where he steals a Banshee and gets offboard.

2005 Hours

• The Divine Justice explodes and crashes in the Quarantine Zone near the Library which results in Resa 'Nasamee's death.
• 49 Repetative Jolt once again reactivates the containment shield just as SPARTAN-103 flys his Banshee to safety out of the Quarntine Zone.

0200 Hours

• The Covenant get unorganized and scattered.
• The Flood are contained in the Quarantine Zone.
• All Marines in the Sentinel Wall are killed by Enforcers and Sentinels.

0400 Hours

• SPARTAN-103 returns to Delta Base and informs Vice Admiral Stye of the situation.
• The battle ends in a stalemate.
