The Green Hills Campaign was a series of engagements in the early Human-Covenant War, taking place in 2526. Human forces were eventually overwhelmed and the colony destroyed; Green Hills was the third human world to be glassed.
Timeline[]
- November 13, 2525
- Covenant missionary ship Holy Vision arrives near Green Hills and discovers the human presence there. Holy Vision leaves Green Hills and departs for High Charity, delivering its report on November 26.
- December 17
- The Covenant fleet Courageous Fervor departs Covenant space for Green Hills with thirty-seven ships: 3 assault carriers, 15 cruisers, and 19 destroyers, all under that command of Fleetmaster Bisa 'Ravamee.
