Downfall is a large Firefight map available in Halo: Lone Wolf. It takes place in the Uplift Nature Reserve, a location visited in Halo 3: ODST. It is similar to Lost Platoon, a Firefight map in Halo 3: ODST.

Downfall is a large, open-environment designed for all-out combat, best played multiplayer. The two buildings provide temporary refuge for Spartan or Elite players who may need time to restore their health gauge, while the easily accessible rooftops serve as sniper nests. A single warthog can be found stationed inside of a garage at the backside of the building. A single Ghost is available in the Southern Field, while an operable Shade Turret is stationed in the Hills up north.

This level utilizes only Phantoms as dropships, and Spirits are never seen in any round.
