[edit] Overview

Halo Battle is a stat based RP system for playing here on Halo Fanon. The idea is simple. Your stats and tactics against the enemy's stats and tactics and general RP fun along the way :P

More to come soon :D

[edit] Rules

[edit] General Rules

  • No god modding (Ie 'ZOMG i found a SCARAB GUN!' or 'I kill them all one shot')
  • No abusing other RPers
  • No Cheating
  • Low violence please. If it's in keeping with the level of violence in the books and the games then it is fine.
  • Same goes for swearing

[edit] RP rules

The idea is simple. Your on a grid which you can move about and then attack your enemy (although there maybe be special exemptions). You use your numerous skills and stats to defeat your enemy.

[edit] Character stats

  • HP: These are your health points. When you take a hit you lose these. Should you lose them all your as good as dead unless a medic comes for you.
  • SP: These are skill points and everytime you use a skill these go down. Once they reach zero you can't use any more skills until you get more.
  • AP: These are action points and are used for all actions within the battle.
  • Strength: This is how strong you are and how effective your melee attack is and may help you with special actions.
  • Vitality: This is your natural resistance to damage
  • Agility: this is your natural talent to evade enemy fire and attacks
  • Speed: This is how fast you can run. You use this to determine how far you can move
  • Weapon Skill: This is how effectively you can use your weapon.

[edit] Weapon Stats

  • Accuracy: this is how accurate this weapon is
  • Range: this is how far it can shoot
  • Flesh damage: this is how much it does to targets without shielding
  • Shield Damage: this is how much damage it does to shields
  • Light vehicle damage: this is how damaging it is to light vehicles
  • Medium vehicle damage: this is how damaging it is to medium vehicles
  • Heavy vehicle damage: this is how damaging it is to heavy vehicles
  • Melee: this is how much damage it deals in a melee attack
  • AP: This is the action points required to use it. This is more or less its rate of fire
  • Magazine: This is the size of its magazine
  • Reload: this is how much AP is required for a reload
  • Special: These are any and all specila rules for the weapon.

[edit] Armor Stats

  • Defence: This is how much the armor takes away from an enemy attack.
  • Shield: This is to mark if the armor has a shield generator
  • Shield Strength: This is the strength of the shield
  • Shield Recharge: This is how much AP it requires to recharge the shield (equivelant of getting into cover and waiting)
  • Attachments: These are the things that can be or are attached to the armor
  • Bonuses: These are the stats that are added or taken away from the user using the armor.

[edit] Actions

Almost all actions use AP.

  • Ranged attack: based on weapon's AP (Accuracy-dodge)+(weapon skill + Flesh or shield damage) - defence
  • Melee attack: Based on weapons AP (Accuracy+dodge)+(Strength+melee) - defence
  • Defence: (does not require AP, reaction to being attack): Attack-(vitality+armor+shielding)
  • Reload: Reloads your gun once it runs out of ammo. Based on reload stat
  • Skill: Uses a skill, uses AP and SP.
  • Move: Move one square for one AP point
