Does anyone else feel that Halo Evolutions, despite being a 343 product, should be considered canon? It falls in line with existing canon quite nicely (except for a few annoying bits included by Nylund, of all people) and is high quality work. True, it does fall under the Legends project, and interlinks with it sporadically, but it still is high quality work. And if not the whole book, then parts of it? I'd hate for some crappy halo book to come out and contradict Evolutions canon, when Evolutions is superior.

Me too. It annoys me a good bit to see it placed in there. Since it was written by most of the same authors, I feel it should be placed higher, occupying the same tier as with the other Halo books. Halo Wars too I don’t think is on the same level as Legends, it wasn’t THAT bad, but that’s a much harder case to fight for.

I just remembered, what about the Halo comics, like Halo Wars: Genesis, Halo:The Graphic Novel, and Halo:Bloodline?

Regarding the status of Evolutions; Halo: Evolutions, according to my research, was under the supervision of 343 Industries and not Bungie. The past Halo novels were under the supervision of Bungie whereas future Halo novels will be under the supervision of 343 Industries. Because Bungie founded the Halo Universe, every product supervised by them trumps over everything. While it is true that Halo Evolutions had a Bungie employee writing a short story (Rob McLees: Note; Nylund is not a Bungie employee), the majority of the authors were contracted by 343 Industries to expand the Halo Universe. So, in answering your second question; HGN and Halo: Uprising trumps over all other comics as they were developed by authors contracted by Bungie and produced by Marvel while other comics would be placed under 343's. Remember your Bungie history!
Note: Halo Bible doesn't exist. :P - 5əb'7aŋk(Σάπτανκ) 23:49, May 2, 2010 (UTC)

Correction Subs: there is no longer a Halo Bible. There likely was once upon a time. Now, it's in the shredder

Let me get this straight...

Ok, let me just get this straight. New to this wiki an all.. This Fanon site lets us make our own fan-content and such, so long as it does not fall out of what was officially cannon? Just want to clarify this. Unsigned comment by TUSF (talk • contribs).

Pretty much yeah you got it. --TehSpartan 21:45, November 26, 2011 (UTC)
