UNSC Nelson (3)[]
- Writer — TheAussie1417
- Nominator — Falkeno
- Date of Creation — August 24, 2022
- Date of Nomination — January 12, 2024
- Description — A fantastic article about a modified Punic-class supercarrier that demonstrates Aussies skills as a writer and deserves to win an annual award in the future having been nominated for one two years in a row.
- As per my nomination User:Falkeno: You can teach, Monkeys to fly better than that.
- In 2023, Aussie put serious work into the Nelson to flesh out his supercarrier, but at the time it was mostly a technical article. He looked for feedback and was told the ship was missing some personality, he took that feedback to heart and drove hard to flesh out the ship. With a crowded 2023 Annual Awards section for the Best Vehicle category, he almost won it and the work he put in it shows and reconfirms this for me when discussing it for FOTM. I hope to see many of the starships worked on in 2023 and into 2024 will get the love and care that the Nelson received, this is one fine hero ship that's really come into its own. Aussie did a great job and gets my vote! - Distant Tide: Hunter - Killer
- A well-written page that's been a lot of fun to read through. It definitely deserves the spotlight this month considering how much Aussie has put written to improve it since its creation. 「 Brodie-001: Finished the fight」
Bangalore (Winner)[]
- Writer — Spartan-D042
- Nominator — Ahalosniper
- Date of Creation — January 13th, 2024
- Date of Nomination — January 15th, 2024
- Description — A short story covering the site's own Delta Company getting a belated extinction event of their own against the Created in the vein of PROMETHEUS and TORPEDO.
- We need more scenes depicting the Created being scary--or, well, doing anything since canon immediately walked 'em back--and D042 has given them a prime shot here in decimating the Deltas. Since Delta Company's an entirely fanon-driven project, it also means this extinction event operation is going to be filled with names users here have provided, meaning each character in the company can potentially take this event and fit it into their character's history, then show the effects on the character going forward. It feels to me a bit like a throwback to Ghosts of Onyx in a time where Halo story media could make big events that impacted things, where it feels like the last few canon stories I've read had some big momentary threat built up just for the heroes to blow it up and things return to status quo (looking at you, Envoy and Spartan Ops and Escalation--for the first time in years). It's starting writing on HF in 2024 with a strong foot forward. That Damn Sniper 22:40, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hadn't taken notice of this story until I saw this nomination but I was pleasantly surprised reading through it. A great story, it sets a precedent for Deltas abandoning UNSC after Operation: BANGALORE's tragic results, which manages to follow PROMETHEUS and TORPEDO in being a mass-extinction event for its respective SPARTAN-III company while managing to stay fresh in a new era of Halo's continuity. Definitely deserving of FotM status. DecryptedPixel: Ignoramus Et Ignorabimus 07:51, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- As per the above. I'm glad to see D042 writing again and I hope we get more stories like this in the future. Actene: Heaven and Earth
- A very close vote on articles that are closely tied. Bangalore edges it out. <Death to Heroes>[The Damned] [The Lost][The Forgotten]|Deus Ex Ajax

Jace-G282 (Winner)[]
- Writer — CaptainRicko
- Nominator — Distant Tide
- Date of Creation — December 29th, 2023
- Date of Nomination — February 8th, 2024
- Description — Spartan-III Gamma of recent creation, tells the tale of Jace and Fireteam Echo through training, last days of the Covenant War, the post-war era, and against the Created and Banished. For such a short time, Jace-G282 covers a lot of ground.
- While there is still some significant improvement to be made in grammar, Ricko's work on Jace, a short story, and Baz-G260 is coming along nicely and is a display of a promising new Halo Fanon writer with awards in his future. FOTM was designed to showcase new users' promising works and I think Jace fits the bill. - Distant Tide: Hunter - Killer
- I'm always a sucker for Gamma characters. Ricko's made great in-roads with asking the community for input and collaboration with his work, which makes for a promising start here. It's also kind of telling that the character's bio jumps so quickly to conflicts in the era of Halo: Infinite, where I for one focus so much on mid-2550s plot developments after so long. Worth looking at to see where the attentions of new users are going to be in the coming years. That Damn Sniper 07:34, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
- Kind of insane how quickly this page has grown in such a short time. Definitely deserving of the spotlight. DecryptedPixel: Ignoramus Et Ignorabimus 14:05, 23 February 2024 (UTC)

Camp Currahee (1)[]
- Writer — Ahalosniper
- Nominator — Distant Tide
- Date of Creation — August 8, 2014
- Date of Nomination — March 2, 2024
- Description — A fantastic and explorative write up of the training facility where the SPARTAN-III supersoldier program turned war orphans into unsung champions of humanity against an overwhelming alien enemy. There is a great deal of irony too that Sniper's only made serious progress on this article after 10 years of sitting and waiting for edits. Looks good, reads good. Great article to feature for Halo Fanon's older community talent!
- Sniper's uptick in activity scares me... - Distant Tide: Hunter - Killer
