[edit] Background

As the first planet to be surveyed by the Precursor in the system, repopulation on the planet were impossible because of its volcanic environment.

According to a Batch.tts, Jagen IV contains several abandoned cities, all of which were away from the danger of volcano and earthquake activities, protected by a shield array. The society who stayed within the city seemed to have disappear without any trace given. There were some technology exist within the cities but only a few stayed active such as the shield array.

[edit] Geology

[edit] Volcanism

Jagen IV produces overly extensive lava flows, hundreds of volcanic pits, and plumes of sulfur and sulfur dioxide hundreds of kilometers in height. Jagen IV's volcanic activity is very active, some moment excretes tens of major eruption, causing a small burst out of its atmosphere. Because of this activity, sulfur, sulfur dioxide gas and pyroclastic material are blown up to 300 km into space, producing large, umbrella-shaped plumes, painting the surrounding terrain in red, black, and white, and providing material for Jagen IV's atmosphere, making it look reddish.

[edit] Atmosphere

Jagen IV has an extremely thin atmosphere consisting mainly of sulfur dioxide with a pressure of a billionth of an atmosphere. This is due to the result to active volcanic activity and because of this, not many biological organism were able to habitat the planet including the Precursor. There are a small fragments of ozone available in the atmosphere, which may contribute the small number of life forms living on the planet although none were found.

[edit] Survey

The Precursor has surveyed the planet multiple times to avoid uncertainties and has found multiple caves among the caverns in the lava sea. Although it is impossible for lifeforms to live in such environment, such fossils were found within the walls of the caves. Further research were supposed to be carried out but it remains a mystery about the fossil and the previous society that once inhabit the planet.

According to a Batch.tts, one of the surveyor teams found an underground city, detecting motion within the area. For a while, they ventured through the city, finding nothing but parallel towers of molten magma throughout the whole city. The towers seems to generate some variation of heat energy, even hotter than the lava itself ,reaching up to 4718 Celsius. The purpose of these tower is still a mystery, so as its society of the underground.

[edit] Research

Several AIs have been left to continue the research of the tower as the Precursor move along with the repopulating process.

Within 7 years, the AIs network to the Precursor system disappear and a surveyor team were sent to investigate the problem. As they got down into the underground city, they found heavy amount of activities, caused by an unknown species unreferenced. The surveyor team only manage to get one AI out of the area. After cross-checking the AI, they were startled by what they seen.
