Khaz'K is a Kig-Yar Union colony, and the only planet in the system hospitable for life (the other two are gas giants).

It's used as a resource colony, having lots of important metals as well as large plantages where fruits and vegetables are grown. There's also large hunting grounds, where true delicacies can be found, like Thorn-beasts, Mraks (similar to Earth mooses) and other rare animals. Meat from the hunting grounds are often reserved for the KYU elite, IE the Senate and the Armed Forces.
The planet itself looks similar to Earth, but with less forests on the surface and slightly more water compared to its size. It's also smaller than Earth. The planet has a moon, Gruk, and a nearby asteroid, Kurg, both being inhabited, the latter being a military headquarters for the Kig-Yar Union.
