Kig-Yar Shocktroopers are the Kig-Yar Union's Elite Forces. They are the best Kig-Yar available, and are tasked with High-ranked missions. They can also accompany main forces as a heavy punch against the enemy.

While the Shocktroopers are the best Kig-Yar troops available, they rank below both the Kig-Yar Zealots and Kig-Yar Ultras.

The Shocktroopers are the Kig-Yar equivalents to UNSC ODSTs and USR SpecOps Sangheili. They handle Special Operations, but can also accompany standard infantry as a heavy weight punch.
