The M3 Individual Combat Weapon System, 7.62x51mm, (known also as the M3 Assault Rifle) was a rifle employed by the United Nations Space Command between the years of 2547 and 2596. It was renowned for its low cost, reliability, and toughness in severe conditions. It fired the exact same round as the MA5 series rifles, therefore allowing for a plentiful ammunition supply.
