Nvoro 'Madar was a Major Domo Sangheili of the United Sangheili Republic Armed Forces. He was a soldier of average level, but he showed great talent. Being born into a family of proud warriors, Nvoro never got to choose his career, but was instead forced into the military by his parents. Because of it, the relationship with his parents is really slim. He later adjusted to the military life, though. That would change with time...

[edit] Early Life
Nvoro was born in 2580 to the 'Madar family, a family of proud warriors. The family had been warriors for six generations, and Nvoro's parents wanted the tradition to continue. When he was five years old, his father started to teach him in the arts of a combatant, while his mother started to work with him on the psychological level to a proud warrior. Despite this, Nvoro was never truly interested, but he developed a sense of loyalty to his parents and the United Sangheili Republic, and so, he continued the training without hesitation.
When he was seventeen years old, he joined the Top War College on Sanghelios. He graduated after three years with slightly above-average grades. He was then stationed back on Vespera, occasionally seeing his parents again. However, things would soon get rough...

[edit] Vespera Honor Square Incident
One day, a USR Councilor arrived at Vespera to inspect its status, and Nvoro was stationed as a guard. When the Councilor sat down at the feast table prepared for him and Vespera's leadership, Nvoro realized that there was a bomb hidden under the feast table. Nvoro rushed and pushed the Councilor away from the table, and one second later, the bomb exploded, heavily injuring him, including destroying his right arm, leg and eye.
Later, in the hospital, the Councilor visited him, and awarded him the rank of Major for his bravery. Nvoro later recovered, receiving Flash-cloned body parts for those he lost in the terrible incident. However, he still has a large scar strecthing over most of the right side of his body. That scar always reminds him of the incident and his loyalty to the USR. Ever since he recovered, he has been stationed on Vespera, without much action. However, this gave him the time to familiarise himself with his new Lance-mates, the Lance he now commanded.
[edit] Battle of Vespera
During the Battle of Vespera, Nvoro and his Lance were told to help other lances protect a small Sangheili settlement from Remnant attacks. However, the Sangheili Commander in charge of the operation underestimated the Remnant Jiralhanae, and much of the suburbs of the settlement were taken by Taurus and his pack. The defense of the settlement itself soon became the major objective, and it seemed to be a tie. Due to devastating sniper fire from a cliff, Nvoro and his lance were sent to take the snipers out.
Nvoro and his Lance did a surprise attack on the Jiralhanae Sniper unit, and most of the Jiralhanae fell quickly. However, one of them managed to attack two of Nvoro's lancemates that provided cover fire, and killed them in close combat. Out of rage, Nvoro drew his Energy Sword and engaged the Jiralhanae, but failed to stab it and were quickly overmanned and kicked close to the edge of the 200-meter high cliff. But when the Jiralhanae planned to deliver the final hit, Nvoro managed to roll out of the way, grab one of his friends' Beam Rifle and used it to punch the Jiralhanae off the edge, sending him down the cliff into the jungles below. Beleiving the Jiralhanae were now dead, Nvoro collapsed, exhausted and wounded. He were treated by his remaining Lance mates and were soon ready to fight again.

As natural for someone coming from the 'Madar family, he has a great sense of honor and loyalty to his superiors and the USR itself. However, unnatural for someone from the 'Madar family, is that he at first wasn't truly interested in being in the military, he only did it out of loyalty. Though, after risking his life to save the Councilor, he started to adjust to the military life, truly embracing it and preparing for real war.
