[edit] Gamma 2 vs an army!
This mission was a stealth although thinking that this mission was a horrible idea for spartans is wrong they were given SPI armor specifically for this mission which helped greatly. Only a year earlier to its other variant OPERATION:TORPEDO this mission was a success only losing 2 spartan as TORPEDO lost 298 of spartan IIIs.

Though this is true Gamma 2 was stealthy enough not to be discovered only after did they plant the C7 bombs did were they noticed as 2 spartans fell in combat up close combat with brutes and hunters. They were marked MIA but are officially KIA. After the mission was finished all covenant forces were killed.

[edit] First Hour
Launch pod for all the spartans down to the surface as the cruiser left the covenant planet radar before it could notice a enemy ship in its proximity. Soon the spartans landed and were 5 miles from the armory factory. They eliminated patrols near the factory.
[edit] Fifth Hour
Gamma 2 reaches 300 yards away north of factory. SPARTAN-031G uses silenced sniper rifle to take out patrolling units and door guards. Gamma 2 breaches inside the armory. Gamma 2 splits up in 2 groups. Group 1 takes on 10 grunts and silently disposes them.

Group 1 finds several banshee rooms and hacks controls for all banshees and then initiates them to be released to hovering covenant battleship. Group 2 stealthfully kills 3 guarding brute warriors. SPARTAN-089(Gary) spots the first power generator room and they plant the first C7 bomb on the power core. Group 1 lets Group 2 know about the mapping of the building so they could reach the 2nd room. bomb 1 estimate time: 20:00

Group 2 finds the 2nd control room and plants its bomb. Telling group 1 they soon meet up with each other to escape the factory so they do not get ingulfed in the explosion of the 2 C7 bombs. bomb 1 estimate time: 8:12 bomb 2 estimate time: 18:10

During the escape of the armory factory the squad was located by a group of brutes and elites. Shooting behind them the covenant chase the spartans as the spartans fight back. But SPARTAN-056G(Carlos) and SPARTAN-145G Kyle fall in the escape. The 2 spartans were marked MIA. The bodies were destroyed in the blast.

The spartans escape depleted 2 of their members. Within the 28 minutes both bombs explode and the mission is a success. This was the factory producing many Covenant battleships and scarabs. The factory produced over 13 battleships and 10 cruisers each human year. This helped many future human inhabited planets from glassing. Though it is thought that at the year of 2551 the factory was rebuilt. This may bring a second mission. OPERATION SILENT BOMB 2
