The Pyro Specialist Assault Trooper is a minor branch of the United Nations Space Command Defense Force, part of the UNSC Army. The Pyro Specialist Assault Trooper weren't common in the UNSC's arsenal, as they were only called in to deal with the most firmly entrenched enemies, chemical spillouts and defensive position, which means that they also take plenty of casualties themselves.. Its primary role is to provide support to general purpose forces and cleaning operations. They know it’s a dirty job, but someone has to do it.

Hellbringers are equipped with Napalm spewing NA4 Flamethrowers, carrying a potent chemical mix with them in a tank that is spewed through a gun onto the target. First seeing action during World War I, flamethrowers have changed remarkably little since those early days in the trenches. A variety of mixtures have been created for work in various atmospheric and gravitational conditions, but they all work similarly to burn just about anything.
They operates in squads of two to four and are best suited for an anti-infantry role with special equipments such as:
- "Flash Bang": Hellbringers would be able to stun enemies with Flashbang Grenades.
- "Napalm Adherent": Allows the flame to continue to burn after initial attack, causing continuous damage.
- "Oxide Tank": Provides the Hellbringers a higher temperature flame to increase damage to organic targets.

Bringing Hell is is a part of basic United Nations Marine Corps / Pyro Specialist Assault Trooper song/hum. It was written by Major Jonathan N. Rousseau in the early days of World War I, somewhere around late 1914 or early 1917. All Pyro Specialist Assault Trooper learn the song/hum at recruit training and they are expected to live by it. Different, more concise versions of the creed have developed since its early days, but those closest to the original version remain the most widely accepted.
