Rev'os Kilaree was a Sangheili navigational coordinator on the Red Hand of the Lost who lost himself on Requiem after the destruction of the Forward Unto Dawn.
Covenant[]
Kilaree was one of multiple Sangheili (or Elites) that was chosen for navigational privileges near the Outer Colonies. He was one of a dozen on a committee responsible for mapping routes to human colonies that would be useful in resources. In 2552, Kilaree was captain of a small science ship called the Unrelenting. The ship was in deep space when the truce between Human and Covenant was forged, and were unaware of it for some time. Kilaree returned to Sanghelios unaware of the truce, and attempted to kill an Elite officer whom he considered to be a "heretic." He was arrested and held on the Gored Mol, but was freed by a task force under Jul 'Mdama. Kilaree was given the title of head navigator on the Red Hand of the Lost.
Engagement with the Forward Unto Dawn[]
Kilaree was one of three nativagors who helped locate Requiem. The Red Hand was one of multiple ships orbiting the planet for several years until the Forward Unto Dawn appeared in the region. Kilaree coordinated drop ship navigation, being the only real expert on the magnetic fields of Forerunner Shield Worlds in the fleet. When the gravity well opened, he was hurled into a computer and into a small supply depot in the back of the communications room of the ship. This room served as a bunker, and he was one of eight Elites that survived collision (John-117 encountered one, most others died in collision).
Requiem[]
Kilaree regained consciousness to find himself trapped inside of a drop pod. He reached out through a small opening and grabbed a Type-33 Anti-Armor Fuel Rod Cannon, blasting the wall of the drop pod out. The drop pod was inside of the now destroyed storage room. Kilaree emerged from an opening in the roof and found himself on a plateau near the crash sight of the primary portion of the Dawn. He was shocked at the sight of dozens of dead Elites, and resolved to find and kill Master Chief.
However, unknown to him, Chief had gone an entirely different way, in the direction of a Requiem transport terminal. Kilaree set out towards a large desert. On the way, he climbed down into a deep crevice, and made his way through the wreckage of the ships.
Kilaree made it to the location where Chief had come down about two hours after Chief had left. He set out through the wreckage and came across a sort of tunnel that had been formed underneath. Down there, he found an old UNSC record, and in his knowledge of the Human language was able to understand it. It was a historical record documenting the human discovery of slipspace.
