A Revenant is a person who was captured by the Necros and has his or her arms, legs and/or other body parts replaced with machine parts, but escaped or was rescued from the "killing floor" of a Necros conversion facility before his brain and vital organs were destroyed and replaced with machine parts. These mechanical limbs make the individual slightly stronger than a normal human, and Revenants are known to have a greater knowledge of Necros weapons, vehicles, and other Necros technologies. The price for these strengths is that the painful removal of limbs or other body parts and partial conversion of a Revenant often results in post-traumatic stress disorder and or other psychological issues. In spite of this, a some Revenants still lead at least semi-normal lives, often serving in the military, as many revenants were soldiers before their failed conversion, and those who weren't sometimes join for revenge, as they usually have family members killed by the Necros.
