Darcy-B122 was a SPARTAN-IV in command of Bravo Company's Squadron 3, Section 2, during the campaigns against the Covenant Remnants in the mid to late 2610s, and fought valiantly throughout the bloody Necros War.
Appearance[]
Darcy was a Caucasian male, with appearance of being of Nordic descent. He had close cropped brown hair and dark blue eyes. He was also short for a SPARTAN-IV.
He wore the Mobile Joint Objective Light Nonstandard Individual Role Powered Assault Armour Mark VII/C Variant, and the front of his armor had a small Cyan Triangle painted under it, with a '6' under it.
Mental Report[]
Darcy had a stable mental state, emotionally sound and stoic, though able to appreciate humour - although a scowl could be bought to his face though gibes about his height.
His military training governed a great many of his interactions with other people, leading to polite and professional interaction. Interaction with teammates and comrades was more relaxed when not in combat or in peril. A SPARTAN-IV, he was trained to follow orders unquestioningly, which he did - in exception of circumstances where the orders issued were clearly in violation of the Uniformed Code of Military Justice.
As a soldier in a position of authority, Darcy cared deeply for his command; and ensured he did everything in his power to make sure his troops had the best intelligence, weapons, and extraction options.
Preferred Weapons[]
Darcy, being trained in close assault, preferred to go into combat with a M108A1 Close Assault Weapon System, with a RED EYE reflex sight. He also deployed with a Battle Rifle 09 for longer ranged actions, with an underslung M023 Modular Shotgun, with a SUCOG scope. Darcy also had a M98 Compact, for situations where Shotguns and rifles simply didn't cut it. Finally, he had a M6L Pistol as a final firearm, and had a M13 Machete in a holster on his back, and finally had a M24 Tactical Axe on the back of his leg for CBQ combat. He also had a single-use LAAW slung over his shoulder for tank-killing.
Strengths[]
Darcy was a skilled tactician, cross-trained in Communications; an added bonus in combat situations. He was also skilled in medium-to-close range combat, as well as QBC warfare.
Weaknesses[]
Darcy, while being a skilled tactician and the commanding oddicer of Section 2, was also known to act impulsively, taking immeditate and largely unplanned tactical gambles based on 'gut feelings' to which the potential payoffs were more than worth the risk with both himself and his team. This correspondingly lead to several very close calls.
