SPARTAN-G219, formally known as Katherine and informally referred to as "Katie", was a special operator of the UNSC Naval Special Commando Unit, 2nd Commando Troop attached to Team Jian.

During the Galactic War, at Commander Wakes's behest, Team Jian, along with Katie, would be reassigned to Joint Task Force Anaconda to partake in the UNSC Fourth Fleet's assault on the Covenant homeworlds.

• Katherine's designation, "SPARTAN-G219", was named in part after SB-202190 (4-(4-Fluorophenyl)-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-5-(4-pyridyl)-1H-imidazole), a small molecule inhibitor of p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (p38 MAPK).
