The Sphingida-class Interceptor is an interceptor used by Oligarchy 13. It serves as a replacement of O13EF Interceptors.
It was made to be as close to the Protoss Phoenixes from the six-hundred-year-old game, Starcraft II, as possible.
[edit] Characteristics
A Sphingida is equipped with two tesla cannons, each with slightly less firepower of a particle beam from a Type-50 SRS. Because if this weaker weaponry, Sphingidae are used in Starfigher-Interceptor engagements. This easily compensates for the weakness of the Dragonflies, as they each can "cover each others backs."
