"Quite a fine company. Every car I've ever owned has been a Sukhoi."

The Sukhoi Advanced Engineering Corporation (known more commonly as Sukhoi) was a major producer of atmospheric and surface craft intended for both military and civilian applications. Established during the earlier portion of the twentieth century as a Soviet government subsidiary, it would later became a subordinate division of the federally organized United Aircraft Corporation.

In late November, 2016, Sukhoi was reluctantly granted independence from this parent group, at which point the company began to blossom to a greater extent than ever before. For centuries, it would rise and fall until it had grown into a full fledged multicolonial giant with facilities on dozens of worlds.

After an internal fallout near the end of the Human-Covenant War, Sukhoi was purchased by a lucrative commodities trader on the Federated Commonwealth of Taradia named Rex Roberson. He sold off much of the corporation's assets and left a presence on five worlds: Taradia, Porcupine Creek, Earth, Shei, and the partially restored Reach. Since this action, Sukhoi's infrastructure has bolstered greatly and the company has come to be known as one of the most reliable within its respective industries.

Since the late 2550s, Sukhoi has been contracted to produce an exponentially increasing number of varying orbital and deep space platforms, the most prominent of these being the TAR Stanford, a unique, multirole military station in orbit of Taradia.
