Wait a tick. First of all, how does that resemble the Marathon-class in anyway? To me it looks like a sqeezed frigate or destroyer. --Beatmaster180 05:05, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

"The vessel, like many human heavy capital ships, had a slim profile and linear mounted MAC guns. Unlike the previous generation of cruisers, like the Halcyon and Marathon class, it did not have a 'column' design, and was more similar to the Heimdall-class Frigate, with a long slim profile then bulked out launch bays, manouvering engines and engine shields. "
―Yeah, I hate the 'column' design of the Marathon and Halcyon.

Truthfully, I like the Marathon and Frigate design better than the Halcyon. It's too boxy. The Halcyon is five (or six) boxes gradually getting smaller in size as it nears the prow. The Marathon, however, is just different, and the frigate is like basically two extended arms. Cool article, btw.
