Tate is a humble mining colony in the Outer Colonies. Colonized by the UNSC via colony ship in 2431, the planet has since become a destination for hope as well as a haven for pirates, rebels, and other scoundrels in its many outskirts. The United Confederation for Freedom has maintained some level of presence on Tate since 2544.
