The UNSC Amsterdam was a London-class Battleship. It saw action in the Fall of Gliese 581, and several other battles late in the Human-Covenant War, before it was destroyed in the Fall of Reach.

History

The UNSC Amsterdam was part of the first run of production for the London-class Battleship. It's construction began in February 2542, and it was launched in August 2544.

It first saw action in the Fall of Gliese 581. UNSC Amsterdam, along with its sister ship UNSC Brussels, was vital to holding off the Covenant Navy. However, after three months, Covenant reinforcements arrived. UNSC Amsterdam was heavily damaged, and the UNSC Navy retreated.

UNSC Amsterdam was destroyed in the Fall of Reach.
