It was the twelfth-built of fifty two Black Wolf-class light escort cruisers. It was christened on August 15th, 2574. Within two years of its commissioning, the Phoenicia was relocated to the Advanced Warfare Fleet and subsequently refitted with a variety of state-of-the-art technologies. Furthermore, the majority of its vehicle bays, among other components meant to sustain infantry assets, were gutted and replaced with a variety of supplemental and prototypical systems intended for ship-to-ship warfare.
