[edit] Naval Special Warfare Command (NAVSPECWARCOM)
The Naval Special Warfare Command provides vision, leadership, doctrinal guidance, resources and oversight to ensure component maritime special operations forces are ready to meet the operational requirements of combatant commanders. They offer the ability to operate across the spectrum of conflict and in operations other than war in a controlled manner, and their ability to provide real time intelligence and eyes on target, offer decision makers immediate and virtually unlimited options in the face of rapidly changing crises around the world. In addition, they are known experts in special reconnaissance and direct action missions.

SPARTANs are among the most skilled and disciplined soldiers available to the UNSC. They take part in intense training at an early age, with the later two programs adding enhancing MJOLNIR and camouflage armor, making them extremely skilled in combat.

[edit] UNSC Marine Corps
Marines can be part of the UNSC contingent of Naval Special Warfare, specializing in covert operations, assassinations, and conducting high-priority high-risk operations against enemy forces. While ODST's are also a Marine special forces branch, their specialties differ, instead focusing on mobility and insertion.
[edit] Orbital Drop Shock Troopers
The Orbital Drop Shock Troopers are an important part of any UNSC invasion force. Disciplined and skilled, they drop into the most hostile areas via HEVs. They attempt to complete some of the most difficult tasks in hostile areas, such as clearing enemy ground forces or establishing a landing zone for incoming Pelicans.

[edit] Army Forces Command (FORSCOM)
The UNSC Army Forces Command trains, mobilizes, deploys, and sustains combat ready forces capable of responding rapidly to crises world-wide. In addition, they optimize available resources, develop quality installations, and establish major facilities to project power globally. The FORSCOM plans for and, on order, provides military support to civil authorities, including response to natural disasters and civil emergencies. Said that, they were more on the offensive whereas the UNSC Navy were on the offensive.
[edit] Special Operations Aviation Reconnaissance
The Special Operations Aviation Reconnaissance (SOAR) is a branch of the United Nations Space Command Defense Force, mainly a branch of the UNSC Army, whose role is to provide aviation support to general purpose forces and ODSTs. SOAR objective mostly deals with assault and reconnaissance. Most of its operations are conducted at night, utilizing the Pelican Dropships at high speeds and low altitudes.
[edit] Pyro Specialist Assault Trooper
The Pyro Specialist Assault Trooper is a minor branch of the United Nations Space Command Defense Force, part of the UNSC Army. Its role is to provide support to general purpose forces and cleaning operations. PSAT objective mostly deals with chemical spillouts and defensive position.
