[edit] History
[edit] Human-Covenant War
Named after the fallen supercarrier of the Battle of Reach, the UNSC Destroyer had just undergone extensive changes in terms of design and defensive capabilities (armour had been increased, heightened firepower and increased expectancy/service. However, the ship's speed and complements were sacrificed).
The UNSC Trafalgar participated in the First Battle of Earth where it defended the space zone of Europe from the invading Covenant fleet. However, the Covenant was swift and evasive, focusing all of their remaining fleets towards the space area of Africa. Minutes after the space battle, the Covenant successfully invaded Earth and began their deployment. The UNSC Trafalgar retreated to the European zone and resupplied after receiving minor damages. Transmission then indicated that the Covenant began distributing their forces throughout the whole world, initiating their genocidal operation. The UNSC Trafalgar descent into Earth and defended the cities affected by the Covenant occupation.
Word went throughout the FLEETCOM that the Covenant Fleet had retreated via slipspace. The UNSC Trafalgar was then tasked to escort the surviving civilians to the planet New Hope.
[edit] Post-War
After the Great War, the UNSC Trafalgar was seen patrolling around Ares System, conducting reconnaissance and operations on suspected rebel-controlled planets.
[edit] Ares Incident
It was last reported on the 7th of November, 2570 and last sighted on 20th of January, 2571, right after the Ares Incident.

- Before the Trafalgar was renamed in honor of the former Supercarrier UNSC Trafalgar, her name was UNSC Pankhurst, after Emmeline Pankhurst, a British political activist in the late 19th/early 20th Century.
- The UNSC Trafalgar design is modelled after the USG Ishimura in the survival-horror game, Dead Space.
