Developed in parallel of the Infinity-class Heavy Battlecruiser, it is solely designed for combat operation. The Vindication-class Battleship is the heavier variant of the Vindication-class light battleship. After the baptism by fire of the Light variant the Vindication-class Battleship model Heavy was preferred to it Light variant. As the result the production of the light variant was stopped and the Heavy variant entered in production. The gap left by it smaller version was filled with the Hirohito-Class Battlecruiser.
Role
The Vindication-class Battleship is made to inspired fear to the enemy. Equipped for large scale exo-atmosphere operation. It size and weapons allow it engage a large variety of asset. During the second battle of Requiem the 3 Nero-class Battlecruiser detachment scored 75 kills against enemy asset of more than 300 meters. It communication array allow it to take command of battlegroups or fleets. Considered as the most powerful ship in the UNSC Navy it is important to note that the Infinity-class score 1 more MAC gun and 10 internally docked frigates. This allowed the Infinity-class to own the title of the Most powerful asset in the UNSC Navy.
