Vosha is a desolate rocky world on the fringe of the Large Magellanic Cloud. The planet is home to a Tier 0 species, called the Vozin.
The Equator is the most dry place on the planet, with temperatures reaching 120 degrees F. There is no water in the equatorial zone, and extremely little life. Most organisms here are either mosses and lichens or giant roming carnivores, searching for food. Most animals that wander here die within the first days, although some of the more resilient creatures can last a week. Below there is the Vozin underground, which sprawls across most of the planet.
The Tropics are milder than the equator, reaching up to only 99 degrees F regularly. Most animals here are large, shelled herbivores, grazing on native spongegrass. Carnivores often enter this area to hunt, and Vozin tend herds of stock animals here. Three small oceans reside in the tropics: the Ziir, Taya, and Caldeer. There is no salt water, so all of it is drinkable.
The poles are similar to the tropical rainforests on Earth, and are abundant with life. Ancient trees grow extremely high, and everything is covered in a turquoise mist. Vosha's larger predators do not come here, as the trees impair their mobility.
Vosha has a mild temperatured underground. The area was originally caves and grottoes, but the Vozin created a massive tunnel system, which became their cities, parks, and recreation zones. The underground is shielded from intense radiation and the large predators that Vozin compete with on the surface.
Vozin lifeforms on Vosha are usually large, ranging from twenty to two hundred feet tall. Predators often hunt in packs, and attack the larger, peaceful herbivores. Forest animals are usually smaller, only six to ten feet in height. The Vozin, the planet's higher species, are native to the forests, but retreated underground. Vosha lacks viruses and harmful bacteria, although many, parasites do exist.
