YS-07, was one of the few clones of Matthew Tetsuo to survive the experimental Yakuza Samuri Project.

The Yakuzan Samuri project was started by Matthew Tetsuo, in an attempt to grow soldiers similar to Spartans, though several clones were created of himself, among them being YS-07, they were below average at virtually everything. In order to "fix" them, experimental augmentations and drugs were used, leaving only 3 surviving clones, including YS-07.

YS-07 was added to the Yakuzan "miliatary", where he led an assault on a police headquarters, killing many. But at the same time Matthew Tetsuo was killed by Jeff Valea.

YS-07 continued to work with the Yakuza, now under Matthews son, Kaneda Tetsuo, and approved of joining the UFF.
